We give a warm welcome to nine new colleagues

 

In Svanehøj, people are the most valuable asset in our efforts to power a better future. Recently, nine new employees joined the Svanehøj teams around the world. Learn more about our new colleagues here.

 

 

Andreas Østergaard, 25, has been appointed Junior Financial Controller as a part of our Group Finance team. He recently graduated with a Cand. Merc. in Finance. During his studies, Andreas gained valuable experience as a student worker at Weber and Trackunit.

 

Benjamin Damsgaard has stepped into a position as Supply Chain Analyst. He recently graduated with a master’s degree in mechanical engineering. While studying, Benjamin has worked part time at Svanehøj.

 

Jonas Nordli Rydbirk has joined our new department in the Emirates (UAE) as Service Manager. With a background as an electrician and a Marine Engineer, he has worked at Desmi since 2016, the past two years as a Superintendent in Dubai. Besides being Svanehøj’s representative towards the customers in the region, Jonas will contribute with his strong experience in automation to handle the calibration and service of cargo-equipment.

 

Kurtulus Acar has stepped into the role as Senior Sales Manager. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering and adds 20 years of experience from the maritime market to our Fuel sales team. Since 2013, Kurtulus has held various sales-related positions at Alfa Laval, most recently as Global Sales Manager.

 

Nanna Kjellerup has stepped into a newly created position as Marketing Coordinator. She recently graduated with a Master of Science (MSc) in Economics and Business Administration, specializing in Organization, Strategy, and Leadership. Nanna has been employed as a student worker in our HR department since December 2023 and started her new job in marketing on 1 July.

 

Working from Shanghai, Qingjie Chen, 29, will be supporting our Project Management department in Denmark by overseeing project execution in China, focusing on local installation, commissioning, and warranty activities. Qingjie joins Svanehøj from a position as a Commercial Representative at Zhoushan Xinya Shipyard Co., Ltd. He holds a degree in Marine Engineering from Wuhan Institute of Shipbuilding Technology.

 

Sebastian Rold has been appointed as Supply Planner. He recently graduated from Business School, during which he was a trainee in our Supply & Planning department. Sebastian will be starting his new job this September.

 

Sofie Bruun Svendsen has joined Svanehøj as HR Operations Consultant. She recently graduated with a Master of Science (MSc) in Economics and Business Administration, specializing in Organization, Strategy, and Leadership. Sofie is already well-acquainted with the HR department at Svanehøj, having worked here in a student position for the past 1.5 years.

 

Wendy Neo has stepped into the role as Service Resource Manager, adding strong aftermarket experience from companies such as Howden and Ingersoll Rand to our organization in Singapore.
