Cryo specialist joins Gas Sales Team at Svanehøj

Frank Norman Jensen is appointed as Senior Sales Manager, Gas. He comes to Svanehøj with many years of experience from MAN Energy Solutions and Maersk Drilling.

Svanehøj is continuing the rearmament of the Sales Department, where Frank Norman Jensen has been appointed Senior Sales Manager as of 1 December 2020.

Frank Norman Jensen originally trained as a marine engineer and has extensive offshore experience from spending more than 15 years with Maersk Drilling. In 2016, he moved to MAN Energy Solutions, where he was most recently Head of Sales at MAN Cryo in Gothenburg, Sweden, which develops cryogenic applications for, among other things, LNG bunkers and fuel gas systems. Therefore, Frank Norman Jensen comes to Svanehøj with a deep insight into the gas market and the tank systems that Svanehøj’s deepwell gas pumps are part of.

“The gas market, including not least LNG, will grow in the coming years. Over 15% of all new vessels in the global order book have been ordered to run on alternative fuels, and at Svanehøj, we have a clear ambition that it is us who will supply the pumps. With the appointment of Frank Norman Jensen, we are adding new resources and valuable experience to our Gas Sales Team,” says Johnny Houmann, director, Sales & Projects.

Frank Norman Jensen will primarily be responsible for the sale of DW Fuel pumps, but he will also support the sale of DW Cargo Gas.

This is the second time in a few weeks that Svanehøj is strengthening its Sales Department with a strong capacity, as Martin Haandbæk was appointed as Sales Manager in November. Just like Frank Norman Jensen, Martin has worked at MAN Energy Solutions and is part of the overall Gas Sales Team, which is based at the HQ in Aalborg, Denmark.
